The neighborhood entrance island at University Oaks and Wheeler will be demolished starting July 9, 2010. Neighborhood accessibility will be limited (if at all) during this work. 

Additionally, Metro has advised that due to the weather the night work has been delayed. Hence, night work is expected to continue for another two to three weeks. Metro advised that they are doing everything possible to minimized the noise.
